The French Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina is the main sponsor of this year’s festival industry program, thanks to whose funds most activities in this program are financed.
As part of the 16th Telemach Youth Film Festival Sarajevo, the 5th OFF Pro Film Market, the festival’s industrial initiative for short film development, was opened tonight at the Manifesto Gallery.
The program was opened by the director of the OFF Pro Film Market, Hanis Bagashov, and the cultural attaché of the Republic of France for the Balkan region, Laëtitia Kulyk. This year’s OFF Pro Film Market brings three days of sessions and programs dedicated to the industry, and numerous guests from Europe and the region will participate in discussions and workshops.
As part of the OFF Pro Film Market, the OFF Co-pro market, aimed at short film development, is also being held. This year’s Co-pro market brings 12 projects competing for co-production funds, the distribution strategy award provided by Gorila Distribution Italy, and the Manaki Brothers Film Festival award. The total value of the awards is 15,000 EUR.

The sessions scheduled for July 22, 23, and 24 focus on the development and promotion of short films and the promotion of green policies in film production with the aim of reducing budgets and rational consumption.
This year’s OFF Pro Film Market is the largest edition of the OFF industry program ever, bringing together dozens of producers and distributors from across Europe who will be negotiating co-productions and potential collaborations in Sarajevo.
