Marina D. Richter is a film critic and writer based in Vienna. She has been a regular contributor to the culture column of Politika since 2004 and to Asian Movie Pulse since 2018. Her film reviews, commentary, and interviews have been published in outlets such as Cineuropa, Sirp (Estonia), the EFA newsletter, DMovies, Vreme (weekly), Vice Serbia, Lupiga, Film.sk, XXZ magazin, The European Animation Journal, and the daily Pobjeda.

Marina is a member of the Serbian FIPRESCI, the AWFJ, and the European Film Academy. She is also the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Ubiquarian, an online platform focusing on short films and documentaries. From 2020 to 2023, she served on the selection committee of NIFFF, in 2024, she was part of the pre-selection team for Kortfilmfestivalen (Grimstad), and this year, she is involved with Doku:Fest.
