Sixteen-year-old Tobias is forced by his absent mother to spend the summer alone with his grandparents in the countryside. Here, he falls in love with the slightly older Aron. However, inner demons prevent Tobias from accepting anything but fleeting love, and when tragedy strikes, he descends into a dark abyss of self-harm, desire, and loneliness, with glass shards in his heart.
Šesnaestogodišnji Tobias je, zbog odsutne majke, primoran da ljeto provede sam sa svojim bakom i djedom na selu. Tamo se zaljubljuje u nešto starijeg Arona. Ipak, unutrašnji demoni mu ne dopuštaju da prihvati išta osim prolazne ljubavi, a kada tragedija pogodi, Tobias tone u mračni bezdan samopovređivanja, čežnje i usamljenosti, sa krhotinama stakla u srcu.
