The film JAN, produced by OFF Pro, is coming to HBO Max from March 2024
Critics, the media and the audience called the film "Jan" "an important step forward in BiH and regional cinematography" and "a brave move by a young film crew". After the screening of the film in Skopje, the director and actors of the film talked with the audience for two and a half hours, and the interest of the audience that has not seen the film is still great today.
The short feature film "Jan", by producer and director Kenan Musić, will be available on the popular HBO Max platform in the spring of 2024.
After the preview in Sarajevo in November of last year, and after, as the distributor Pixel4k had planned, the film had limited showings in North Macedonia, Croatia, Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina, viewers in BiH and Southeast Europe will be able to watch the film on HBO Max platforms.
The screenplay and direction of the film is written by Kenan Music, photography and editing by Mario Ilić, and the main roles are played by naturalists Maksim Jovanović, Ammar Fazlagić and BiH actors Arma Tanović and Mehmed Porča.
In addition to them, Hana Zrno, Zan Mujkić, Maja Salkić and others also appear in the film.
The film was shot in the OFF Pro production, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the KS.
"Jan" is a film about friendship and love, at a time and in life when impulses and changes are overwhelming and fear is the biggest problem. Running away from reality and the pressure of his father, eighteen-year-old Jan begins to examine his feelings for his best friend, taking care not to spoil the most valuable thing he has in life. And while for his best friend this is all another challenge from social media and just a game, which he soon realizes has gone too far, Jan begins to struggle with his real feelings and inner conflict and tries to keep his friend and avoid his father's reaction .

The Zagreb audience was in tears during the conversation after the screening, and a large part of them during the congratulation to the film crew told about their own experiences that they identified with after watching the film.
By the way, this is the first time ever that HBO has bought the rights to a short feature film from Bosnia and Herzegovina. After the acquisition of the film "Jan", OFF Pro and Pixel4k announced the start of filming the first season of the series of the same name, which will have 7 episodes. The series is written by Armin Behrem based on the idea of Kenan Musić. Filming is planned to begin in the spring of 2024. All the details will be known at the beginning of the year, and what is certain is that the series will bring together the big names of the BiH theater and new young actresses and actors.
